Terms of Service

1. What AI Streams is
AI Streams is a discovery, metadata, and recommendation layer for Stremio. It provides catalog rows (genres, moods, trending, community lists), AI-powered recommendations, semantic search, and enriched metadata (cast, crew, posters, ratings). It is a catalog + meta addon — it does not declare or provide the Stremio stream resource.
2. What AI Streams is NOT
- We do not host, store, cache, serve, index, transmit, retrieve, or distribute any video, audio, or other media content.
- We do not operate or intermediate any content source of any kind, and we do not transmit stream data between users and any content source.
- No media file ever transits our infrastructure. Any playback your Stremio client performs is handled entirely by separate Stremio-compatible addons you install and configure yourself — AI Streams is never in the playback path.
- We do not endorse, encourage, promote, or facilitate the infringement of any intellectual property.
3. Your responsibilities
- Third-party services. Any services you choose to use alongside AI Streams — stream addons, metadata APIs, AI providers, and any other independent services — are governed entirely by their respective Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for complying with those terms.
- Stream addons. Any playback happens through separate Stremio addons you install and configure directly with their operators. AI Streams has no role in, and no control over, what those addons return or transmit. You are responsible for choosing, installing, and configuring those addons, and for the consequences of streaming any content through them.
- Local law. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of AI Streams and any services you pair it with complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
- No illegal use. You agree not to use AI Streams to discover, access, or reference content you do not have the right to access.
4. DMCA and takedown requests
AI Streams does not host, index, or transmit content and therefore cannot remove content from its systems (there is nothing there to take down). Catalog rows reference titles by IMDB / TMDB identifiers only — no file data, no stream URLs. Questions about our metadata layer: aistreams@proton.me.
5. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that abuses the service, violates these terms, or creates legal exposure for the operator. Pro subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rata basis in termination-for-abuse cases only.
6. No warranty
AI Streams is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Uptime, stream availability, and AI recommendation quality are best-effort. The operator disclaims liability for lost data, interrupted service, or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the account email on file. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
